Dave is a Canadian military veteran, having honorably served in the Canadian Airforce for nearly 15 years as an Aviation Technician and instructor. Upon completion of his military career, he completed a degree in Public Relations (with distinction) from Mount St. Vincent University and later, an Executive Accreditation in Business Communications from Royal Roads University in Victoria BC, and an accreditation in Loss Control Management.

Dave has more than two decades of success and experience in international business development and business strategy, marketing and media in the aerospace and aviation field; Defence; renewable energy, as well as experience working in sectors including construction safety, mining, not-for-profit health charities and others.

Among his greatest achievements is his contribution to founding Churchill Academy in Dartmouth, NS - a specialized, not-for-profit school dedicated to delivering a curriculum to meet the educational needs of students with learning challenges. Dave also instructs at the College of the North Atlantic (CNA-Stephenville Campus); delivering Advanced First Aid, Overhead Powerline Safety and Traffic Control training to CNA students and industrial companies.
