Dave is a Canadian military veteran, having honourably served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for nearly 15 years as an Aviation Technician and instructor. Upon completion of his military career, he earned a degree in Public Relations (with Distinction) from Mount Saint Vincent University, completed an Executive Accreditation in Business Communications from Royal Roads University, and obtained accreditation in Loss Control Management.

Dave brings more than two decades of experience in international business development, business strategy, marketing, communications, and media relations. His career has spanned the aerospace, aviation, Defence, renewable energy, construction safety, mining, not-for-profit, and other sectors, where he has helped organizations strengthen their market presence, build partnerships, and achieve sustainable growth.

At POLARIS Advantage Inc., Dave supports clients with strategic communications, business development, stakeholder engagement, and market growth initiatives. Drawing on his military background, extensive experience across the aerospace, aviation, Defence, renewable energy, and industrial sectors, and his expertise in marketing and public relations, Dave helps clients strengthen relationships, communicate effectively, and pursue new opportunities in complex and highly regulated environments.

Dave is also passionate about education, training, and community service. He contributed to the founding of Churchill Academy in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, a specialized not-for-profit school supporting students with learning challenges, and continues to share his expertise as an instructor with the College of the North Atlantic.
